This morning my 7-year-old wanted me to make a paper airplane for him. I made a “classic” one, and he threw it and it went right to the ground. He wrote me a note to look on the Internet to find out how to make one that flies. I haven’t tried any of these, but this is what I found:
- How To Build The World’s Best Paper Airplanes – 12 different planes with graphics but no written instructions
- Great Paper Airplane Activities – a collection of links provided by the Los Angeles County Office of Education
- Paper Airplaines – one simple set of instructions, with a couple of tips if your plane doesn’t fly well
- 10PaperAirplanes.com – Yes, instructions on how to build 10 different airplanes. Each plane has its own page with some animated gifs and written instructions.
- Fun Paper Airplanes – 15 sets of instructions categorized as beginner, intermediate, advanced and novelty. The instructions are provided in detailed PDFs

I’m not sure. I’ve removed the image just in case it is
